THE man who lobbed a foam pie at Rupert Murdoch has had his jail term reduced thanks to the barrister son of The Tribune's former managing editor.
Defence advocate Piers Marquis successfully argued for a lower sentence for comedian Jonnie Marbles, whose six-week term for assault was cut to four after the judge was told it was "a protest by prank."
